Blogging With Intent

So I've tried to create a blog approximately 1000 times (no exaggeration, right?) And every. single. time I create, post a couple posts, and let the blog fall into the deep abyss that is the pool of failed blogs: I can hear the harrowing calls of other failed bloggers calling to me as I type. I tried to get to the bottom of why my blogs always fail. Am I too busy? Not really. Am I not passionate enough? I love writing, that isn't the issue. Am I not dedicated enough to the art of blogging? Possibly. So the solution I have to keep myself accountable: blog with intent. My plan to do so, and to not let this blog fall into that deep, dark abyss of failed blogs, is to plan to post snippets of current work. Along with my current MAW classes and assistantship, I aspire to start writing a collection of vignettes on working minimum wage, specifically in the fast food industry. These vignettes will possibly be creative nonfiction, possibly fiction, possibly a mix of both: to be determined, ya feel. This being said, I think this will be a good chunk of what I post. Everything else? Well, that my friends, is yet to be determined. Strap up, get ready for the ride. Stay loving, stay kind.
